............................LATINO REPUBLICANO............................
Who is the Republican party?
Have you ever heard anyone said that the Republican party is a racist party, that hates Latinos, that hates the poor? Then they tell you just to believe them, to trust them, and not to ask about their reasons for believing this way; and on top of that they don't allow Republicans to explain their thoughts, to defend themselves, the Republican gets censored.
In LatinoRepublicano.mysite.com we go around the main stream media, we go around the Newspapers and we filter ourselves through the window of your computer, we make used of the free electronic waves of the Internet to show you who Republicans really are, what values we have and why it is to your advantage to support us Republicans. TV channels and Newspapers don't give us a fair opportunity to speak to you, the Spanish speaking people, so we have searched a back-door to you, where there are no guardians from the Democratic party blocking us.
For starters let me assure you that Republicans are not bad people, we don't hate anybody, on the contrary, it is Republicans who have come to the assistance of those minorities who were being oppressed, meet us!
History of the Republican party:
The Republican party was initiated by president Abraham Lincoln in 1850, one of the reasons for the birth of the party was to fight for the freedom of African Americans who were slaves during those years.
Democrats were opposed to give freedom to the slaves and this in part caused what is now known as the civil war. Republicans claimed victory in this war and the slaves began to obtain their freedom.
This part of history gives pride to the Republican party who now still continues its fight for freedoms, but this time we fight for a different type of freedom, this time we fight for freedom of the minds.
Republicans and Latinos:
Many years passed, and when a group of people were once again being oppressed, along came another Republican to the rescue, president Ronald Reagan. President Reagan, 100% Republican, fought so that millions of undocumented Latinos who were living in the shadows and under the fear of deportation could come out and have a dignifying life, this brought the passage of the Amnesty Act of 1986. No other president has helped Latinos as much as Republican president Ronald Reagan.
With these historic precedents in favor of the oppressed, I invite you to meet the Republican party and I invite you to become part of this CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTION!! join us by simply writing to: LatinoRepublicano@live.com
Republicans and Religion:
The Republican party is based on respect for all people regardless of their beliefs. Republicans acknowldege that the United States was founded under one God as seen from the minds and hearts of Chirstians and Jews who were the principle founders of the nation, Republicans also acknowledge the fact that many people have lost their lives or their liberty for having different beliefs, for this reason it is very important for the Republican party to keep and maintain a free nation, so that every person can have the freedom and peace to practice their own religion without any fear of oppression, the Republican party welcomes all kinds of beliefs and the only thing it asks in return is that their own beliefs are respected as well.
Republicans and Abortion:
Republicans understand that the scientific community does not posses a general consesus as to when life actually begins, if it is at the moment of conception or at the moment of birth. Fort this reason Republicans strongly oppose the abortion practices, because there is a chance that the unborn fetus became a person at the moment of conception, if this is the case, instead of an abortion, the person getting the abortion would be murdering a small, helpless person who does not yet have a voice or an opinion. Republicans believe that there can be exceptions in cases where the pregnancy was caused by rape or by incest.
Republicans and same-sex marriage:
Despite the fact that Republicans have a great deal of love and respect for all people regardless of their differences, Republicans do not support the marriage between two people of the same sex. One of the reasons for this belief is because a marriage between two people of the same sex can never be the same as a traditional marriage and they endanger the existence of society. For instance, two men can never impregnate each other, and if they wish to have kids they would have to use extra-marital methods, this would right away break the marital rules. Same thing goes with two women of the same sex eloping, they can never impregnate each other, and if they want to have kids they would have to use extra-marital methods. this simple acts are non-traditional and therefore same sex people do not qualify under the definition of "marriage."
Republicans believe that the practices of a same sex couple fall outside the traditional marriage, and for this reason homosexuals need to find another name to define their union, marriage is a term already used to described the union between a man and a woman.
Republicans and the economy:
Republicans believe in a free enterprise, where people can make use of their talents and to work on what they like, to study whatever they like. In LatinoRepublicano.mysite.com we believe that this way of thinking is what gave birth to the famous phrase: "The American Dream."
Republicans believe that to attract business is necessary to reduce business taxes and to create incentives so that businesses can grow and can employ more people. If you have heard the Democrats say that Republicans reduce taxes to rich people, is because of that, because it is the rich who create jobs, it is the rich who own the factories, but without them you and I would be unemployed.
Republicans also believe that each person ought to be responsible to assure himself a place in society, that the job of the government is to make sure that there are enough tools available so that every individual can reach his/her goals.
Republicans and Immigration:
Republicans acknowledge that our nation has been enriched by immigrants in search of a better future. In many cases the immigrants have fled from violence and oppression in search of peace and freedom. They come to America all suffered and sacrificed but with hope for a better future for them and their children in the United States. Republicans also acknowledge that a lack of security along the borders has been in part responsible for a growing drug trafficking, gang violence, and slave servitude of more than 50,000 women and children from foreign countries by human traffickers.
While our nation has been enriched by the determination, energy, and diversity of the immigrants, Republicans believe that in this nation of laws, the immigration policies must be followed and respected, and securing our borders is vital for the safety of our citizens.
Republicans and education:
Republicans believe that all students, regardless of race or economic status, must be efficient in literature and mathematics. Even though it is preferable that children learn more than one language, the ability to master the English language guarantees that our children will be competitive at a university level. Republicans also believe that schools must be responsible for the progress of the students through exams, which can be used to identify the needs of each child. This reports at a student and school level must be made available to the parents so they can hold schools accountable.
Walter L. Tayes, Chairman-LatinoRepublicano
Water L. Tayes is a Latino immigrant who came to the United States illegally. At his arrival to the United States Mr. Tayes supported the Democratic party and volunteered for president's Bill Clinton's 1992 and 1996 presidential campaign. In 1996 Mr. Tayes joined a club called "Young College Democrats of America" where he became president of such college club.
In 2001 Mr. Tayes joined the Republican party after convincing himself that the Republican party was the party that had benefited Latinos more and it's the party that has values and ideas that not only benefits Latinos, but the country as a whole!
The opinion that Mr. Tayes has now of the Democratic party is the follow: "The Democratic party has ideas that are probably created from the heart, and they are probably created in good faith. The problem with the ideas of the Democrats is that when you analyze them and you study the future potential impact of these ideas, they often turn out to be bad for the country, affect negatively the proper functioning of society, and they create deeper problems than the ones they're aim to solve. That is why, even though I came to this country illegally and Republicans disapprove such act, I still support the Repubclican party, because it is not just about me anymore, now it is about my children and my children's children, and about the type of country I want them to inherit."
